Tebeo editado según del modelo de financiación colectiva a través del sitio web Kickstarter, con 3.388 euros aportados por 136 patrocinadores, que fue comercializado al cuidado de la editorial West Wind Comics. Se trató de una sátira muda pertenciente al género de la ciencia ficción que protagonizaba un detective de cómica inspiración superheroica inmiscuido en una investigación en la que se barajaban terrorismo y corrupción política.
Esta publicación pudo ser adquirida además a través de su propio sitio web, al mismo precio de venta al público en librerías, mediante una oferta por la que se acompañaba de otro pequeño tebeo titulado LOL.

Z is a 96-page unique psychotronic graphic novel by Valentin Ramon co-creator of D4ve and Hot Damn (published by IDW) where he dares to write, draw and self publish under the umbrella of West Wind Comics, Ferran Xalabarder´s imprint that brought you “Oniria” and “Born in hell”.
Z is a 96 B/W pages graphic novel with a morning glory hardcover ONG (14,5 x 21 cm landscape).
Z is a wordless book. No more room in the world for meaningless words.
Z is a funny book. A visual dystopian metaphor inside a song without lyrics, a lonely scream on the sea of human stupidity inside a silly book.
Z is a nihilistic detective of sorts. Think the Batman of the 40’s but naif.
Z is a personal view about the origins of terrorism. Expect some government conspiracies, diabolic corporations and religious blindness.
For me, self publishing has been a long awaited dream. I did try a couple of times before to use fundraising campaigns, hoping to get some funds to be able to self publish at least one of the books that I have kicking hard inside my skull demanding to get out. It didn't work.
So this time I thought to do it the opposite way. First, to create the whole book and after to take it to the mountain. So I had to spend the last 4 months locked up, putting aside some pay work and focused only on this project, eating cold pizza and peeing in a pot until the book was totally finished.
So here we are, you and me, me telling you that I have got something on my hands that may not save your live and may not give you some secret knowledge about how your surrounding reality works, but it may give you a good laugh. At least I hope so.
And then, this time I will not try to use this fundraising campaign as a magic wand to make the book to come to life. This time, the book is alive and Kickstarter will be the tool to bring it to you.
