Edge Entertainment fue fundada en Sevilla en 1999. En septiembre de 2008 se fusionó con la editorial francesa Ubik , afincada en Toulouse, Francia. La fusión se realizó bajo el nombre del editor español («Edge Entertainment»), nombre que conserva todavía actualmente aunque el grupo sea oficialmente tanto francés como español.
